1. Controller

Asami Kato, via Viareggio 34, 00040 Ardea RM, Italy

Email: roma.asami@gmail.com

For the purposes of the GDPR, the controller is the natural or legal person that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

2. Hosting and server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data so that the website can be delivered and its stability and security can be ensured.

This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested file or URL, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system and HTTP status.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and abuse-free operation of the website.

Server log files are stored only for a limited period to the extent technically necessary and are then deleted or anonymised in accordance with the hosting provider's specifications.

3. Contact requests and contact form

If you contact us by using the contact form or by email, we process the data you submit in order to handle your request.

The contact form currently processes your name, email address and message. Technical connection data is also processed as part of the website delivery.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your request is aimed at entering into or preparing a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the orderly handling of requests and communication with interested parties.

We store the content of your request until processing has been completed. The data is then deleted unless statutory retention obligations apply or further storage is required for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

4. Email delivery via Resend

We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) to deliver contact form submissions by email. Resend processes the data submitted through the form as a processor in order to forward the email to the configured recipient address.

If Resend processes data outside the EU or EEA, the provider states that appropriate safeguards are used, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses. Before going live, please verify that your Resend configuration and data processing agreement match your actual setup.

The legal basis for using the email delivery service is Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, depending on the purpose of the request.

5. External links, especially Instagram

This website links to external services, in particular the Instagram profile of Asami Kato. Simply visiting this website does not transfer data to Instagram.

A connection to the external provider is only established when you actively click such a link. From that point on, only the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

The legal basis for the link is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in presenting the artistic profile in a contemporary way and offering additional contact and information options.

6. Cookies, tracking and analytics

Based on the currently visible technical implementation, this website does not use its own analytics or marketing tools that would require consent via a cookie banner.

If statistics, advertising, social media or other consent-based technologies are added later, this privacy notice must be updated before they are activated.

7. Recipients and processors

Personal data is only disclosed to recipients to the extent necessary for operating the website or handling your request. This includes, in particular, the hosting provider, technical service providers and the email delivery service Resend.

Where legally required, data processing agreements pursuant to Article 28 GDPR should be concluded with processors.

8. Retention periods

We process personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purposes.

Server log files are retained according to the actual hosting configuration. Data from contact requests is regularly deleted after the request has been fully processed unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require longer storage.

11. Obligation to provide data

Providing personal data is not legally required for merely visiting this website.
