Asami Kato

About the artist

Asami Kato was born in 1952 in Japan. After graduating from the Nagoya University of Arts and earning a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, he developed a distinctive sculptural language shaped by landscape, memory and materiality. His works are held in museums and public spaces in Japan, Italy and beyond.
